Tiago is a nice person and a great teacher. Great first surfing lesson. I could not stand on the board before the lesson, now I managed to surf within just an hour in white water. Good and easy introduction and precise helpful tips during the lesson. I will go to Tiago again for sure.

I found the school on Google Maps, I was in Caparica just for half a day and I really wanted to do a surf lesson. I texted Thiago to see if he was available for a class and I was lucky enough that he was not in the water. I signed up for a group class but since I was the only one that afternoon he still did the class, this is a sign of extreme professionality. I had one of the best surf classes to date, compared to other teachers Thiago is really attentive and gives you very important tips. You can see that for Thiago surfing is a real sport and not just a one day experience. I recommend him if you really want to learn surfing. I hope to have another class with him someday

Thiago was an amazing teacher, even if we are five and none of us had ever surfed before we had so much fun and we also start really improving with the surfing. We are super happy and can’t wait to come back!!!

We highly recommend Tiago/Breakthrough surf-school - because Tiago broke down surfing into clear phases/steps and was quick to give us a success story as they quickly got up in the board. Getting the fell of surfing the waves. Also focusing on how to handle the board, waves and safety going out through the surf/waves. Giving more energy to learn how to surf. At the end is the lessons (we had 5 lessons of 2 hours each) they learned how to catch the waves which can be quite challenging and put new surfers off the sport. Thanks Tiago - we will come back.
