We are on a mission to help surfers to save time online to surf more

We believe surfing should be about fun, respect, and love for the ocean. We want to bring surfing back to its roots, emphasizing the importance of community and connection. We envision a world where surfers spend less time online and more time in the water, where local craftsmanship and businesses are valued, and where every surfer is part of a sustainable solution. We believe in the power of collective intelligence in the surfing community and we are here to amplify it.

Where it began

Borasurfar's story dates back to 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal. The journey began with our two founders wanting to make second-hand surfboards shopping experience easier by bringing this market online, thereby creating the marketplace Borasurfar.pt

This success story in Portugal helped more than 60k users, giving a second life to more than 2k surfboards while promoting more than 60 partners.

From a peer-to-peer website in Portugal to a global surfing marketplace

After these 3 years of experimentation, learnings and new partnerships, we understood the needs of the surfing community and we are ready to deliver what they deserve.

We are building a marketplace where surfers will save time online. No more struggle to find your next surf gear. No more friction to find professionals around for your next surftrip. More waves, more smiles.
